Sunraysia Agribusiness Conference

ANZ, in partnership with Mildura Regional Development, presents the 2019 Sunraysia Agribusiness Conference.

This year’s Conference forms part of a State Government initiative #DIF (Digital Innovation Festival) which will run for two weeks from Friday 23 August – Friday 6 September and the State Governments Business Local Events Program. #DIF is a unique initiative to develop, demonstrate and promote technology and innovation across every sector of the economy and society. Locally, the Sunraysia Agribusiness Conference will be the first of a number of events to be held over the two week period.

This year’s Conference will include four high profile key note speakers including:
·         Mark Bennett - ANZ Head of Agribusiness
·         Allan McCallumNon-Executive Chairman – Cann Group Ltd
·         Warren Davies - The Unbreakable Farmer
·         Dr Anne WebsterFederal Minister for Mallee
Speakers will cover a range of topics including the opportunities and future direction of the Sunraysia region, new technologies, industries, investment into the Sunraysia area and the importance of health and wellbeing within our farming community.

Following the addresses from the key note speakers, a panel discussion and Q&A session will be held to discuss some of the challenges faced in the Sunraysia Region.

A panel of industry experts from the Victorian Farmers Federation, Mallee Sustainable Farming, Horticulture Innovation Australia, Lower Murray Water and MADEC will tackle some of the major challenges faced by the local Ag sector such as labour requirements, water price and security.


The Conference will also showcase the best of our region with a range of local businesses, industry bodies, education providers and technology companies exhibiting their produce, products and services.
